Walnut Creek SUD will be moving to stage 2 watering restrictions at 6:00 pm this evening 7/14/26. Stage 2 restrictions are as follows:
Even addresses may water on Tuesdays from 6:00am to 10:00am and from 6:00pm to 10:00pm
Odd addresses may water on Thursdays from 6:00am to 10:00am and from 6:00pm to 10:00pm
Please note that it only takes approx. 1 inch of water once a week to keep a yard alive in Texas

Limit landscape watering with sprinklers or irrigation systems at each service address to once
every seven days. Outdoor watering schedule to be determined by theGeneral Manager.( see above)
Exceptions:
o Foundations may be watered up to two hours on any day by hand-held hose; or using a soaker
hose or drip system placed within 24-inches of the foundation that does not produce a spray
of water above the ground.
o Newly installed shrubs (first year), and trees may be watered up to two hours on any day
by hand-held hose, drip irrigation or a soaker hose. Treewatering is limited to an area not to
exceed the drip line of a tree.
Once per week watering restrictions do not apply to locations using well water or treated
wastewater effluent for irrigation.
