Following the water main break yesterday evening on Billie Howard Ct. There has been a boil water notice issued.

Crews are working on repairing a water main break at the intersection of Scott Lane and Newsom Mound Rd. This will affect the pressure on Scott Ln, Gilley Ln, Sherri Ln and Newsom Mound (from Scott to Sabathney). Once the repairs are completed and service restored this area will be under a boil water notice until samples come back from the lab.

Following the completion of the tie in happening at the intersection of Jaybird Rd, Knob Rd, Knob Hill Rd, and Jay bird Lane. There will be a boil water notice in effect for Springhill Ct.

As of 7/29/25 at 12:00 AM/ midnight Walnut Creek SUD will be under stage 2 of the Drought Contingency watering plan. Watering will be permitted one day per week as follows:
Even addresses will be permitted to water on Tuesdays from 12:00 AM to 10:00AM and from 6:00pm to Midnight
Odd addresses will be permitted to water on Thursdays from 12:00 Am to 10:00 AM and from 6:00 PM to Midnight
This is due to demand overriding supply during extended watering of stage 1.
