Bond Projects

Contruction on the following projects are underway:

  • 1 MG ground storage tank on FM 920
  • 2 MG ground storage tank at the water treatment plant
  • Expansion of FM 920 Pump Station
  • New Pump Station on South FM 51
  • Water line upgrade from Keeter Rd to Jaybird Ln
    • 27,504 ft of 16 inch
    • 18,273 ft of 12 inch
    • 2,052 ft of 8 inch
  • 2, 2 MGD filters at the water treatment plant
  • .5 MG elevated storage tank on Thomas Rd

Remaining Projects to be bid:

  • Water line upgrade from FM 920 pump station to Agnes elevated storage tank
  • Water line upgrade from Jaybird Ln to FM 730 on Knob Hill Rd
  • .5 MG elevated storage tank on FM 51 South
  • There are also many smaller project to be completed with the Bond money.

 

Generator Update

4/15/2025

For the past couple of years the district has been working on purchasing and installing back up generators at key points throughout the system.  In March of 2024, the generators and necessary components were ordered. As of today, April 15, 2025, three out of the four generators are on site waiting for the district's electrician to complete the installations.  The following locations have generators on site: Raw Water Pump Station, Surface Water Treatment Plant, FM 2257 (Jaybird Ln) Pump Station.  The fourth generator will be installed at the FM 920 pump station following the completion of construction for the new pump station.
