As of 7/25/25 at 8:00am Walnut Creek SUD will bge under stage 3 of the Drought Contingency watering plan. No Outside Watering. The system pumps can not keep up with the demand during irrigation times and is losing water faster due to irrigation than the system can be replenished. This will be a temporay restriction until the system can recover at which time the watering stage will be re-evaluated. This is an emergency situation and Walnut Creek asks that Customers please comply so that ample essential water can be supplied for drinking, bathing etc. Again Stage 3 is in effect and outside watering is prohibited. Crews are currently doing an emergency repair on a pressure valve on West Hwy 199. The pressure loss should not be a total water loss. This will be wide spread throughout the system and water pressure should only drop momentarily. This will notrequire a boil water notice. Walnut Creek SUD is sorry for the inconvenience.

The boil water notice issued on July 23rd for the North side of E Hwy 199 from Jaybird Ln to the East end of Monticello dr has been rescinded.

Crews are working on repairing a water line between Gilliland and 1155 W Highway 199 on the north side of the road.

Crews have repaired the water main on Meandering Ct. There has been a boil water notice notice issued for the following areas:
Meandering Ct, West side of Easthill Dr, 662 - 1008 Summit Dr (Even adresses only)
BWN - Meandering Ct

Effective June 28th at 10:00 am. Walnut Creek will be going to stage 1 emergency water restrictions. This is due to the pumps throughout the system are reaching their mechanical limits.
The watering schedule will be as follows:
- Even numbered addresses Monday and Wednesday between Midnight to 10am and 6pm to Midnight
- Odd numbered addresses Tuesday and Thursday between Midnight to 10am and 6pm to Midnight
Please no watering during the heat of the day. Also Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are NO WATERING days as they are peak demand days.
Watering with a hose by hand is allowed at any time.
