Walnut Creek SUD crews are repairin a leak on FM 51 North of Springtown. This will cause low pressure / loss of pressure in the following areas:
North FM 51 from the 15500 block to Thomas Rd. Thomas Rd from FM 51 to Alex Dr. Quail Dr, Partridge Dr, Cardinal Dr, Newfield Ln and Caballos Ln. When repairs have been completed these areas will be under a boil water notice until further notice.
Boil Water Notice for Community Public Water Systems

Due to Water leak/pressure loss, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the Walnut Creek SUD PWS# TX 1840008 public water system to notify all customers ( Within areas listed at bottom of the page ) to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions).
To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking, and ice making should be boiled and cooled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes. The water should be brought to a vigorous rolling boil and then boiled for two minutes.
In lieu of boiling, individuals may purchase bottled water or obtain water from some other suitable source for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
When it is no longer necessary to boil the water, the public water system officials will notify customers that the water is safe for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
Once the boil water notice is no longer in effect, the public water system will issue a notice to customers that rescinds the boil water notice in a manner similar to this notice.
Please share this information with all the other people who drink this water, especially those who may not have received this notice directly (for example, people in apartments, nursing homes, schools, and businesses). You can do this by posting this notice in a public place or distributing copies by hand or mail.

On 6/2/25, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Walnut Creek Sud public water system, PWS# TX 1840008, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of 6/6/25.

Walnut Creek SUD crews are repairing a 16" water main West of Bridgeport Bridgeport. Some areas may experience low water pressure or loss of water. Affected areas Easy Bay Drive and connecting streets.FM 1658, County Road 3504, County Road 3510 and along FM 920 from CR 3510 three miles South to the address of 3069 Fm (@). If you live in these araes and experience loss of pressure or complete water loss be advised that once repairs are complete you will be under a Boil Water Notice until further notice

Affected areas: East Bay Drive and connecting streets FM 1656, County Road 3504, County Road 3510 and along FM 920 from CR 3510 three miles South to the address of 3069 FM 920. These areas are still under a boil water notice.

The tie in taking place at the FM920 pump station is causing pressure loss from the 6600 block of FM 920 to Hwy 199. There is a boil water notice issued following the completion of the tie in.

Crews are repairing a water main at the intersection of Lindenwood Lane and Drury Court. The following addresses will be without water during repairs and are under a boil water notice until further notice. 812, 816, 820 Lindenwood Lane.

The boil water notice issued following the 16 inch main line repair on FM 2123 which occured on May 26th has been rescinded.

As of 5/20/25 at 8:00am Walnut Creek SUD is no longer under any stage of drought restriction. However watering is still not permitted between the hours of 10:00am and 6:00pm. The District also asks that customers be consious of water use and only water as needed and not over water. The District thanks you for your cooperation in this matter.
